Dear Parishioners
We hope that the marquee is allowing you to engage in our Masses in a purposeful and safe way. We want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your patience too. In June, Father Kevin began to meet with parishioners in relation to the plans for the Cathedral and St. Augustine’s Hall, and we are very grateful for their time and support. We look forward to sharing these plans and how you can be involved in our fundraising with the broader parish community over the coming months.
We want to share a quick update of our progress:
§ All channels have been dug for the underfloor heating, and we hope to have this new feature completed in August
§ The re-wiring process is complete with lighting pendants to be hung at the beginning of August
§ We are also in the process of connecting and hanging the new projector screens
§ Our new boiler is in situ, with all underground gas pipes leading to a new boiler house
§ Glass panels for the draught proof entrance will be installed in August, in tandem with the floors being varnished
Be assured of our continued prayers for you, your families and our parish. Please pray for the success of our restoration.
