Prayer for Ukraine

God of peace and justice, we pray for the people of Ukraine today. We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons. We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow, that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them. We pray for those with power over war or peace, for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions. Above all, we pray for all your precious children, at risk and in fear, that you would hold and protect them. We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Amen

OUR LADY’S MESSAGE FOR PEACE

Ivan, one of the visionaries of Medjugorje, has received an urgent message from Our Lady asking people worldwide to pray the rosary for peace in Ukraine. Also at 6.30pm daily pray three hail Mary’s for peace.

Volunteers needed for Daffodil Day Friday March 25th

We are delighted to say that Daffodil Day will be back on the streets this year.

A large number of volunteers are needed so that the whole day is covered (from 9am - 7pm approx) throughout the town. If you could give 2 hrs of your time for such a worthy cause it would be greatly appreciated. Cancer is something that has touched most of us one way or another. With GDPR regulations, perhaps you can contact me directly this year to volunteer even if you have been a regular collector in the past. I will do my best to accommodate your preferred time slot, but a little flexibility would be appreciated.

Kind Regards Martina Lee Boyle Daffodil Day Co-Ordinator 086 378 2928
