ALIVE and ACTIVE taught by Bishop Emeritus Leo O’Reilly and Fr Darragh Connolly combines Contemplative Prayer with Scripture. The Contemplative prayer component will help you learn to relax fully and completely for a more direct encounter with God. The Scripture component offers a light examination of the thinking of Jesus Christ, to both know him better and ponder where his thinking intersects with your life. The ALIVE and ACTIVE course will run on Thursdays for 6 nights starting on 27th October, 7.30pm – 9pm. The BACKPACK for Adults (Introduction) is presented by psychotherapist James Burke, B.Ed, Dip., MSc. If your taste is more toward psychology, neuroscience and boundaries, but you recognise the need for spirituality, then the Backpack for Adults might be a good fit for you. The Backpack for Adults (Introduction) will run on Tuesdays for 6 nights starting on 25th October, 7.30pm – 9pm. Both courses are in the Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cullies, Cavan H12 E5C7 and cost is donation. For more information on either call 049 4375004, ext 101 or email pastoralcentre@kilmorediocese.ie
