LECTIO DIVINA, a prayerful reading of the Sunday gospel has resumed each Tuesday after 10am Mass in the Cathedral. Come and give it a try for half an hour in the Conference room behind the altar.

Sr Mary Gallagher, Holy Rosary Sisters, thanks everyone for welcoming her to the Cathedral and the generous response to the appeal. The total amount collected came to €2049.28 and £30 for which she is very grateful.
Mass of Thanksgiving for Renovation work on the Cathedral will take place on Sunday 27th November at 3pm in the Cathedral. Everyone welcome. Light refreshments served afterwards.
The Memorial Statue of John Joe O’Reilly, Captain of Cavan 1947 (Polo Grounds NY) and 1948 County teams, will be unveiled at the Market Sq/Post Office in centre of Cavan Town on 20th Nov at 12.30pm by Uachtarain GAA Larry Murphy. All are welcome for what will an historic occasion for Cavan GAA.

A REMEMBRANCE TREE is in place in the sanctuary. Labels are available to write the names of your loved ones whom you wish to remember during this month. Please bring your own pen/pencil.
Cavan Day of Remembrance takes place on 20th November 2022 at the monument in Con Smith Park at 11.15am where wreaths will be laid. At 1.30pm an Ecumenical Service takes place in St Clare’s Chapel, off Main St., Cavan. Please come along and pay respect.
The upcoming Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Kilmore Care of Creation will take place on Wednesday 16th November at 7pm in the Conaty Centre, Cullies, Cavan.
Cathedral Renovations In the next number of weeks we hope to meet as many people as possible in relation to the recent and future developments in the Cathedral and St Augustine’s hall and how you can support. I have been buoyed by the attendance and participation of parishioners over the past several weeks. Meetings are taking place in the Cathedral on Tuesday 15th at 6:30pm and Thursday 17th at 7pm. An evening of prayer remembering our faithful departed and for our family and personal healing through the ministry of Fr John Walsh (Limerick) will take place in St Brigid's Church, Killygarry, Cavan on Monday November 21st. Confessions and prayers from 6.45pm with Holy Mass at 7.30pm. Water, Salt and Oil will be blessed and the evening will conclude with the laying on of hands and benediction
