Eucharistic Procession Sunday 11 June 2023

To celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi next Sunday there will be a Eucharistic Procession through the town following 11.30am Mass in the Cathedral. The procession will travel via Church St, Main St, Bridge St., Abbey St and returning to the Cathedral on Farnham St. A prominent place in the procession will be reserved for children who received sacraments this year who attend with their parents/guardians.


Blessing of Graves 2023 Cullies – Sunday 25 June 1pm Killygarry – Sunday 2 July after 11am Mass NOTE CHANGE OF TIME Please note that the time of the Blessing of Graves in Killygarry has changed. Mass will be at 11am followed by the Blessing of Graves. Urney – Saturday 5 August 7.30pm Butlersbridge – Sunday 6 August after 10.30am Mass


St Clare’s Chapel ADORATION

Eucharistic Adoration 11am to 7pm daily. In order to facilitate social distancing, it will be held in the main part of the church until further notice. New members to undertake 1 hour of pray per week in the presence of the Blessed of the Sacrament are especially welcome. Contact Liam at 087 2358440 to arrange your hour.


BENEDICTION on Sunday 4th June at 7pm in St Clare’s Chapel.

Killeshandra Camino Calling – Saturday 17th June in the captivating surrounds of Killeshandra. Long distance 35.5km walk through the beautiful lake-dotted landscapes of Killeshandra and beyond in the heart of the Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark. Follow the Killeshandra Camino Facebook page for up-to-date information on all things related to Cavan’s first ever Camino. Fee: €40 (excl. booking fee) includes map, drinks/fruit en route, hot dinner at the finish and a passport plus commemorative Certificate of Completion.!

Knights of St Columbanus Annual Church Gate Collection is this weekend. All proceeds collected are spent locally promoting the practice of prayer.


Peregrine Mass for the sick will take place at 7.30pm on Wednesday 7th June in St Aidan’s Church, Butlersbridge. St Peregrine is the patron saint of cancer patients. Anointing with St Peregrine oil will be offered at the Mass.


Positive Age Hall, Castlemanor – Dancing & light exercises, 2pm – 4pm continue. All welcome. Arts & Crafts continue until 8th June 2pm – 4pm. Light refreshments.
